*If you only choose one, make it this two-part series.
Money
There are a lot of ways to measure wealth. Money is one. Another is how much time and energy you are able to commit onto the thing that brings you the most joy. Your Thing. I tend to think that once you get to the point of ‘enough’ with money, the second is far more valuable to maximize.
2.
My rich buddies are always talking about taxes. How to pay less, specifically. Many of them have moved away from friends and community to a low-tax state or tax-free country.
What they don’t understand is that everybody pays the same taxes, they just pay in different ways
Health
1.
We should work hard on big and difficult things.
We should dissociate from the outcome of those things.
We must find the fulfillment within the doing of those things.
Relationships
1.
Don’t look for a partner with the same hobbies. They change. Instead, look for somebody who matches your character traits and values. Traits like cleanliness, work ethic, generosity. Values like family, friends, and lifestyle.
2.
I’m starting to figure out what love means.
It’s a difficult balance of intimacy and independence that is not always wildly passionate. Don’t get me wrong, the butterflies still exist––just fewer and farther between. The highs aren’t crazy high anymore, but the lows disappear.
Love is more of a gentle warmth. A warm cup of coffee on a cold Sunday morning when you’ve got nowhere to go; nowhere to rush to––one where you can put your feet up, and sip, and simply enjoy. It’s that moment where you hold onto a hug an extra few seconds, press your fingers into her shoulder blades; the look-over and smile and double-pump squeeze of the hand you’re holding as you watch your child being kind to another kid; the feeling that you get when you walk through the door, knowing she’ll be there, because you know that she’ll always be there.
When you really love someone, it’s serene.

Been using it for my own workouts lately.
And wow. Just wow.

Most of all, I love how the app isn’t bogged down with extra features nobody needs but you, as a coach, have to pay for and the client has to sift through.

If you used QuickCoach a while ago and stopped using it, I encourage you to check it out again. It keeps getting better, slicker, and easier to use.
