What I’m Changing as an Author in 2027
Next, here are a few short thoughts this week.
Money
1
Over-optimization isn’t a problem confined to books, of course. It’s why we have 36 interconnected Marvel movies. It’s why modern architecture is lame. When everything is measured and workers are compensated for short-term success, all you end up with are right angles.

A useful question:
To what extent are our wants and desires shaped contextually by the perception of the lifestyles of those around us, rather than by an absolute need?

Health
1
I regret to inform you that if you’re unhappy with your life and don’t know where to start, the answer is your body.
Move it. Feed it real food. Sleep enough. Walk more than you think you need to.
Once your body’s in order, your brain gets going.
2
View yourself as a scientist studying your own body and building awareness along the way. With the learning mindset, take responsibility for your health, knowing that it is no longer something outside of your control.
Relationships
1
Two little things that make a big difference
Greet them at the door. When somebody you love comes home, stop what you’re doing, get up, and meet them.
Walk them to the door. When somebody you love is leaving the home, stop what you’re doing, get up, and say a proper goodbye.

The Greatest Personal Trainer in the Universe is the first fitness parable in the tradition of The Go-Giver and Who Moved My Cheese, but set where we live: on the gym floor. (Learn more and early interest list)
The Invisible Heist is a memoir about getting robbed for $1.6 million. There wasn’t a gun. Nobody got hurt. It wasn’t a smash and grab thing. They got into my safety deposit box without opening it. There was no alarm. I don’t know who did it or what country they are in. (Learn more and early interest list)
Book Recommendation
