Moving on, here are a few short thoughts this week.
Money
“You can be more successful in two months by becoming really interested in other people’s success than you can in two years trying to get other people interested in your own success.” – Ferrarzi

The Arrival Fallacy:
The false belief that achieving a specific goal will lead to lasting happiness and fulfillment
Health

The fitter version of you is more focused, confident, and relaxed. They’re less anxious, stressed, and sick.
This person is a better parent, a higher quality partner, and has more energy for their loved ones.

I never would have done group fitness when I was younger.
Amazing how fitness changes as our life changes.
Today I dropped off Jaden on my bike at daycare at 9:10, did an F45 class at 9:30, got home at 10:20, showered by 10:30, and hopped on a podcast for 11.
The workout isn’t ideal.
I’d like more progressive overload. I’d like longer sessions with better warmups and mobility.
But with three young kids, convenience trumps all.
Step one is to get it in. Figure out how to get it done. Then, make it perfect.
Optimization culture needs to take a back seat when life gets busy. And that’s fine. ‘Cause, you know what, F45 is pretty good. And pretty good that actually gets done is awesome.
Relationships
1.
“Promise me, we won’t ever do this again,” Sadie said. “Promise me, that no matter what happens, no matter what dumb thing we supposedly perpetrate on each other, we won’t ever go six years without talking to each other. Promise me you’ll always forgive me, and I promise I’ll always forgive you.” These, of course, are the kinds of vows young people feel comfortable making when they have no idea what life has in store for them.” – Gabrielle Zevin
